Download Diagnostic Archives¶

MongoDB engineers may request that Ops Manager administrators provide diagnostic archives for one or all projects for debugging and troubleshooting. Project diagnostic archives also contain global system information about Ops Manager. Use the following procedures to locate and download these archives when requested.
Download the Diagnostic Archive for a Project¶
Note
To access this feature, you must either:
- Belong to the project, or
- Have the Global Monitoring Admin role or the Global Owner role.
Open the Project’s administration page.¶
Under the Project for which you want to retrieve diagnostics, click the More… link
The Project’s administration page displays with the following fields:

Project ID | <projectId> | Lists the 12 hexidecimal digit unique identifier for the Project. |
Logs | Logs | Links to the logs for this Project. |
User Interface | User Interface | Links to the console for this Project. |
TAR Diagnostic Archive | Download | Links to a download of the diagnostic data of this Project
compressed in the *.tar format. |
ZIP Diagnostic Archive | Download | Links to a download of the diagnostic data of this Project
compressed in the *.zip format. |
Backup Configuration | View | Links to the Backup Job configuration for this Project. |
Download the compressed archive of diagnostic data.¶
Depending on which download format you want, click Download to the right of TAR Diagnostic Archive or ZIP Diagnostic Archive.
The archive downloads to your local host.
Download the Diagnostic Archive for All Projects¶
Note
To access this feature, you must either:
- Belong to the project, or
- Have the Global Monitoring Admin role or the Global Owner role.
Click the Admin link.¶
Choose the archive file format to download.¶
Click .tar or .zip under Diagnostic Archive on the System Overview page.
