Get a Database by Name

GET /groups/{GROUP-ID}/hosts/{HOST-ID}/databases/{DATABASE-NAME}

Retrieve a single database by name.

Request Path Parameters

Parameter Type Description
GROUP-ID string (Required.) Unique identifier of the group that owns this MongoDB process.
HOST-ID string (Required.) Unique identifier of the host running the MongoDB process.
DATABASE-NAME string (Required.) The name of the MongoDB database.

Request Query Parameters

This endpoint may use any of the HTTP request query parameters available to all Ops Manager API resources. These are all optional.

pretty boolean Indicates whether the response body should be in a prettyprint format. false
envelope boolean

Indicates whether or not to wrap the response in an envelope.

Some API clients cannot access the HTTP response headers or status code. To remediate this, set envelope=true in the query.

Request Body Parameters

This endpoint does not use HTTP request body parameters.

databaseName string The name of the database.
links array Links to the group that the database belongs to, the MongoDB host running the database, and database measurements. The relations between URLs are explained in the Web Linking Specification.
