Provision Servers

This section describes how to add servers for:

  • Ops Manager Monitoring. Monitoring provides deployment metrics, visualization, and alerts on key database and hardware indicators.
  • Ops Manager Automation. Automation lets you deploy, configure, and update your MongoDB processes directly from Ops Manager. It also provides all features that monitoring provides.
  • Live migration from Ops Manager to Atlas. Use the live migration wizard in Atlas, to move the data from a Ops Manager-managed deployment to Atlas without having to shut down your Ops Manager deployment.
