Manage BI Connector in Ops Manager

Modify a BI Connector Instance

To shut down a BI Connector instance:

Modify the BI Connector instance.

  1. Click Modify.
  2. Update any settings that you need to change.

Click Apply Changes.

Click Review & Deploy to review your changes.

Ops Manager displays your proposed changes.

  1. If you are satisfied, click Confirm & Deploy.
  2. If you want to make further configuration changes, click Cancel. Click Modify for the cluster to make additional changes.

Terminate a BI Connector Instance

To shut down a BI Connector instance:

Navigate to the Processes tab for your deployment.

  1. If it is not already displayed, select the organization that contains your desired project from the office icon Organizations menu in the navigation bar.
  2. If it is not already displayed, select your desired project from the Projects menu in the navigation bar.
  3. If it is not already displayed, click Deployment in the sidebar.
  4. Click the Processes tab.

Navigate to your BI Connector instance.

  1. Click the cluster card that has the BI Connector instance.
  2. In the View field in upper-left corner, click the BI Connector option.

Terminate the BI Connector instance.

  1. Scroll to find the BI Connector instance you want to change or start typing its name in the Search box.
  2. In the card for that BI Connector instance, click the ellipsis h icon button and select Terminate.

In the Terminate Cluster: <Cluster Name> modal:

  1. Type the cluster name in the box.
  2. Click Terminate.

Click Review & Deploy to review your changes.

Ops Manager displays your proposed changes.

  1. If you are satisfied, click Confirm & Deploy.
  2. If you want to make further configuration changes, click Cancel. Click Modify for the cluster to make additional changes.
