Edit Your User Account

Overview

You can update your password, email address, and mobile phone number. You can also modify your Ops Manager display settings and newsletter preference. You cannot change your username.

Note

To change your two-factor authentication settings, see Manage Your Two-Factor Authentication Options.

Change Password

Click the Settings tab, then click Account.

Click the pencil icon for the Password field.

Change your password and click Save.

Change Email Address

Click the Settings tab, then click Account.

Click the pencil icon for the Email field.

Enter your email address and click Save.

Change Mobile Phone Number

Ops Manager uses your mobile phone number to send receive SMS alerts, including two-factor authentication codes.

Click the Settings tab, then click Account.

Click the pencil icon for the Mobile Phone Number field.

Enter your phone number and click Save.

Change Display Settings and Newsletter Preference

Click the Settings tab, then click Personalization.

Edit personal settings.

Edit the following, as desired. The available fields depend on your role.

My Time Zone Select your time zone.
My Date Format Select your preferred date format.
