Access Your User Account

Overview

You can access your user account from the Settings tab. Modify your account using the pages described here.

Account

The Account page allows you to update your personal information. Access the page through the Settings tab. The page includes the settings described here.

User Name Displays your username. You cannot change your username.
Email Address Displays the email address Ops Manager associates with your account.
Mobile Phone Number The number to use to receive SMS alerts, including two-factor authentication codes.
Password Allows you to change your Ops Manager password. Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and contain at least one letter, one digit, and one special character.
Two-Factor Authentication

Ops Manager may require two factor authentication for login. For details, see Manage Your Two-Factor Authentication Options.

To delete or reset two-factor authentication, contact your Ops Manager system administrator.

Personalization

The Personalization page allows you to configure the console to suit your needs and preferences. The available fields depend on the your role. To access the page, select the Settings tab.

My Time Zone Select your time zone.
My Date Format Select your preferred date format.

Public API Access

The Public API Access lets you generate keys for access to the Public API and lets you configure access to whitelisted operations.

My Groups

The My Groups page displays the Ops Manager groups to which you belong. From here you can add a group.
